This
website provides comprehensive information about Coffs Coast Waste Services:
The 3-bin system
Coffs
Coast Waste Services started operating in November 2005. Residents of Coffs Harbour, Bellingen and Nambucca now have three large bins (green, yellow
and red) plus a small kitchen organics
bin.
Read
more about the background of Coffs Coast Waste Services, about the Materials
Recovery Facility (where contents of the yellow bins go for recycling)
or the Biomass Facility, where high quality composts
are produced from contents of the green bins and the red bin contents are processed to recover low quality compost, metals and other recoverables.
