do I put materials that cannot be placed in any of my bins?
Bulky
Goods
This will be collected by CCWS from your kerbside twice per year. Details
of the collection dates for your area are available on this website, under
Bulky Goods Collection.
Hazardous
Waste
Household quantities of hazardous waste such as pesticides, chemicals,
motor oil and car batteries can be delivered free of charge to the Coffs
Coast Resource Recovery Facility, Nambucca Waste Management Facility,
or Raleigh and Dorrigo Waste Centres.
Mobile
Phones
Contact the Mobile Phone Industry Program on 1300 730070 to arrange for
collection, or call Clean Up Australia on 1800 282 329 for a reply-paid
envelope to post the phone, or drop off your phone to one of the participating
local Mobile Muster outlets (there is one at the reception of Coffs Harbour
City Council's Administration Building).
Old
or Unwanted Medicines
You can drop these off for free at most chemists.

to tyre dealerships or to the Coffs Coast Resource Recovery Park for a
fee.

can be dropped off at:

Coast Resource Recovery Facility's second-hand goods trading centre
operated by Aarvbee. This facility on Englands Road, Coffs Harbour,
accepts some building materials, bric-a-brac and electrical items.

some building materials, bric-a-brac and electrical goods.

Most
centres will accept items with a resale value, including furniture, books,
bedding, clothing, shoes, electrical goods, some building materials, cutlery,
and bric a brac.
